Fatigue can be a significant barrier, often making exercise seem daunting. That’s why I created the FIT & STRONG Framework. The crucial first step ‘BALANCE after cancer’ is designed to help you rediscover your energy balance. Which in turn empowers you to exercise in ‘FIT after cancer’ in a way that’s not only safe and effective but also tailored specifically to your capabilities. Together, we’ll work towards restoring your vitality and muscle strength through ‘STRONG after cancer’.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

You learn to manage your energy more effectively.

You will receive information, assignments, and exercises.

You will invest approximately 30 minutes per day for 8 weeks.

You will get access to a supportive community of fellows.

WHEN?

The program focusses on recovery after you’ve finished treatments. Wheter you finished yesterday, or a year ago! It’s never to late to start the program and work with me on your energy management.

WHEN IS IT NOT FOR YOU?
If you are suffering from severe depression, anxiety disorder, addiction, or psychosis, this treatment may be suitable only as a supplement to the treatment of those conditions. Please consult with your healthcare provider about this.

I advise against simultaneously participating in this program along with another (oncological) rehabilitation program. If you have doubts about this, we can discuss it via chat.

If you are currently undergoing intensive work reorganization/reintegration, a divorce, moving, renovation, or any other situation that demands a significant amount of your time and energy.

HI, I’M JANNEKE

Hi there! I’m Janneke Oomens, an oncology physiotherapist from the Netherlands. My journey in healthcare began with a personal story – I lost my mother to cancer when I was fifteen. That experience shaped my path, and now, I dedicate my life to helping cancer survivors regain their strength and fitness. I’ve worked for over a decade as an oncology physiotherapist in a practice. When I helped a family friend with some simple recovery advice. To my surprise, that advice reached many others and inspired me to start an online platform. It’s my way of extending a helping hand to those who may not seek therapy but could still use some guidance. I believe in the incredible capacity of our bodies to recover and achieve, and I’m here to support you in finding your strength again. Let’s embark on this journey together!
